Hunter PvP Add-on

Speedrunning in Minecraft Bedrock is fun, but it is much better when you are being chased. This add-on adds a persistent, relentless Hunter that targets you, simulating a solo manhunt challenge.

You get a brief head start to gather basic gear before the Hunter spawns and the chase begins.

How It Works

• ⏱️ Preparation Phase: When the world starts, you have 3 minutes (180 seconds) to collect resources, craft tools, and prepare. Warning messages will count down in chat at 120s, 60s, 30s, 10s, and 5 seconds.
• 🌌 Dimensional Tracking: The Hunter tracks you across dimensions. If you cross into the Nether or the End, the Hunter will follow you shortly after.
• 🏃‍♂️ Catch-Up Mechanics: You cannot easily escape by just running. If you get more than 70 blocks away from the Hunter, it will teleport 20–30 blocks behind you to keep the chase going.
• ⚔️ Predictable Combat: To keep the challenge balanced and fair, the Hunter's attack damage is hard-coded.
• 🔄 Respawn Cooldown: Defeating the Hunter buys you time. Once killed, the Hunter will go on a 1 minute cooldown before respawning, giving you a brief window to gather food, heal, and run.

Chat Commands

If you need to reset the challenge during testing or gameplay, you can use the custom chat command:

• Reset Challenge: !hunter reset (This resets the timer back to the 3-minute preparation phase and removes any active Hunters).

Hunter Gear & Drops

The Hunter is equipped to fight and rewards you for defeating it:

• Equipment: Wears a leather chestplate and wields an iron sword.
• Loot Drops: Upon death, it drops 2–6 arrows, a chance at its iron sword, and 1–3 bottles of enchanting to help you get levels.

Installation

• Use MCPEDL app on Mobile (Android + IOS) for ease of downloading and installing packs directly into minecraft.
• Use Bedrock Manager on Windows For installing addons,packs, worlds, etc and managing them + more features!

• You are not allowed to reupload the project or any platform and claim it as yours.

Notes

• Requires both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack active in your world.
• Compatible with multiplayer, but currently defaults to tracking and targeting the host / first active player.
• Works in existing worlds; the system initializes automatically when the world loads.
