A peaceful lavender-themed biome add-on ported from Java Edition to Bedrock.
Port Permission This add-on is an unofficial port of The Lavender Update by OutofContent, originally released for Java Edition. Ported to Bedrock under the terms of the MIT License, which permits adaptation and redistribution with attribution. Special thanks to OutofContent for creating this excellent mod!
New Biome:
The Lavender Fields Biome is a semi-rare biome that replaces small patches of plains, meadows, sunflower plains, and flower forests. Covered wall-to-wall in wild lavender with lavender trees throughout. Normal overworld mobs and bees spawn here.
Plants:
- Wild Lavender & Tall Wild Lavender — Found across the biome and rarely in plains, meadows, and forests. Drops Lavender, spreads with bonemeal. Plant itself can be collected using a tool with silk touch.
- Lavender Tree — Small tree with birch bark and lavender leaves. Some spawn with a beehive. Leaves decay naturally; can drop a sapling. Sapling can be regrown into tree.
Items:
- Lavender — Crafts into Purple Dye. Smelt for Dried Lavender. Compostable. Obtain from breaking Lavender Plants.
- Dried Lavender — Crafts into Gray Dye. Harvested from the Incense Bowl after Lavender is burned.
- Guidebook — Crafted with a Book and Purple Dye. Full in-game reference for all items. A guidebook is provided upon the start of any world with this add-on enabled. It is available in English only.
New Mob: The Lavender Cow
- Spawns in Lavender Fields, can be bred with Dried Lavender
- Drops beef, leather, and lavender items
- Has cute little bees flying around it
Decorative and Fun Blocks:

Lavender Candle — Emits light level 12. Light with Flint and Steel. Can be unlit.

Incense Bowl — Fill with Lavender, ignite with Flint and Steel. Grants Regeneration to nearby players while burning. Drops Charcoal and Dried Lavender when spent.

Plant Holder — Decorative holder for Lavender (Lavender, Wild Lavender, and Wild Tall Lavender can be placed in the holder)

The final missing features from the Java Mod will be added in a future update. This include the 3 custom Lavender Themed Paintings.
