Developer Notes – Pale Forest Dimension

This add-on is a hands-on example of Minecraft Bedrock’s new custom dimension system, built using Preview/experimental features.

It showcases:

A fully scripted, survival-compatible terrain generator
A new Pale Forest dimension (infinite, always night)
Custom ambiance, music, and light shader tweaks
Portal access via Pale Oak Door + Trial Key
Return travel back to the Overworld the same way

This isn’t meant to be a fully finished content pack—it’s a working reference for creators who want to build their own dimensions.

That said, it’s fully playable in survival if you just want to explore something eerie and different.
