Most "FPS packs" on here swap a few textures and call it
a day. Optidium is different. Every single optimization
in this pack is intentional, tested, and targets a real
bottleneck — GPU draw calls, VRAM uploads, CPU animation
ticks, or shader overhead. Nothing is in here for show.
This is the pack I built for myself to play PvP on a
low-end Android phone with no excuses. Now it's yours.

Every mob texture you'll never see on a PvP server
has been replaced with a 1×1 transparent pixel:

1. Download the .mcpack file below
2. Tap it — Minecraft imports automatically
3. Settings → Global Resources → Activate Optidium
4. Tap βοΈ on the pack → choose your RDL subpack
(start with RDL 6 if you're unsure)
5. Rejoin your server and feel the difference

ποΈ Removed
Absolute Resource Pack textures — The Absolute 16x UI textures (hotbar, hearts, hunger bar, inventory) that were bundled in previous versions have been fully stripped out. They were causing visual conflicts and were not Optidium's original work.
Shader subpacks — Removed leftover shader files that added zero benefit on non-RenderDragon Android builds and were just dead weight.
Better FPS Bedrock junk — Removed inherited files from the Better FPS pack that were redundant or conflicting with Optidium's own optimizations.
NoShaders variant — Dropped the separate NoShaders .mcpack. Shaders were already non-functional on most Android devices, so maintaining a second build was pointless. There is now one clean base build.
Old splash text — Removed the leftover Better FPS Bedrock!! splash text that was still showing from the old pack.

Frozen flipbook system — All animated block textures are now frozen to frame 0 via flipbook_textures.json. This is a pure config change — no texture resolution was reduced. Covered animations include:

Absolute textures removed, Better FPS crosshair added — Swapped the broken Absolute UI for the clean Better FPS crosshair, properly wired to pxd/crosshair.png at 9×9px so it renders at the correct size (was displaying oversized before due to a bad UI JSON reference).
Block Overlay textures — Blockwars-style block textures integrated for cleaner visuals in PvP.
Static water textures — Added matching static water PNGs so frozen water looks clean instead of glitched.
