This add-on allows mobs to revive! When they die, they have a chance to respawn. The mobs can surprise you, as they can sometimes revive more than two creatures at once from the same dead mob!

What is Mob Revive?

If you enjoy long battles or fighting large hordes, you'll love this addon!

When a player kills a monster, it has a chance of respawning, and even a small chance of respawning alongside another mob. This means more than two entities can be revived from a single kill!

You'll need to fight carefully, as revived mobs can take you by surprise and kill you when you least expect it!

Even monsters added by other addons will have the possibility of reviving when killed by a player!

How It Works?

When a mob dies, the addon checks if it belongs to an enabled category (Monster, Animal, Boss or Creature). If the revive condition is met, a random number determines whether the mob revives. The system rolls for Quadruple revive first, then Triple, then Double, and finally Normal revive. Each revive type has its own configurable probability, allowing you to fine-tune the challenge level.

Optimization Notes

Slimes and magma cubes are permanently excluded from the revive system. This prevents excessive lag and entity saturation that could negatively impact world performance, as these mobs naturally multiply and can quickly overwhelm the server.

  • Works with vanilla Minecraft mobs across all categories
  • Fully compatible with monster family mobs from external addons
  • Specific support for Alpha & Beta Legacy, Warden Secrets, Old Villagers Plus, Nether Biomes Expansion, Fusioned Mobs and Old Pigman Plus
  • Functions without requiring "Allow Cheats" to be enabled in your world

  • The config resets when the world closes.
