To give yourself a fake name give yourself the fakename tag, then shift click a nametag

If you want to give a name to another or via commands you can use /tag <target> add fakename:<name>

There are keywords you can use for more complex commands:

:newline: - adds a new line
:name: - player's real name
:score_<objective>: - player's score
:health: - player's current health
:xp: - player level

You can also animate name tags by giving multiple, it will update every 5 ticks

you can use this for teams, games factions ranks ect. probably pranks mostly
