Eternal Night

In vanilla Minecraft, the night is easy to bypass, you just sleep in a bed. This addon forces your world into a permanent, relentless survival challenge: Eternal Night. Natural time cycle progression is disabled, and the world is frozen in endless midnight. Beds are completely useless and sleeping is disabled, forcing you to face constant mob spawns on the surface.

To keep survival interesting, the addon simulates a custom day/night cycle, features immersive atmospheric fog, and triggers The Blood Moon events.

How It Works

🌌 Eternal Midnight: The addon permanently locks time to midnight. If anyone attempts to sleep in a bed or use time-skip commands, the world is immediately forced back to midnight, keeping the environment forever dark.
⏱️ Simulated Day-Night Cycle: Even though the sky is frozen at midnight, a custom timer tracks your progress. A single "Survival Night" lasts 20 minutes (the length of a full Minecraft day), and the game announces in chat when the next night begins (e.g., Night 5 begins…).
🌫️ Creepy Night Fog: During standard nights, you are enveloped in a dark, atmospheric fog that restricts your vision and makes exploration tense and spooky.

The Blood Moon (Every 3rd Night)

Every 3rd simulated night, a Blood Moon rises, transforming the world into a high-danger zone.

🔴 The Rise: You will hear thunder strike and see a bold warning on your screen: "The Blood Moon Rises… Monsters grow fast and lethal."
😈 Supercharged Monsters: All hostile mobs (Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, Spiders, etc.) within a 60-block radius of any player receive permanent Speed II and Strength I status effects. They run extremely fast and deal lethal damage.
🔴 Crimson Atmosphere: The standard dark fog is stripped and replaced with an ominous, blood-red Nether fog for the entire 20-minute duration.
💚 The Fade: Once the 24,000-tick night cycle completes, the Blood Moon fades with a sound effect, removing the monster status effects and returning the world to standard creepy night fog.

HUD Tracker & Commands

By default, a real-time progress tracker displays above your inventory hotbar showing Survival Night X (or 🔴 BLOOD MOON | Night X when active).

You can toggle the HUD display on or off at any time using simple in-game commands (cheats are required):

Disable HUD: /scoreboard players set global_show_hud en_time 0
Enable HUD: /scoreboard players set global_show_hud en_time 1

Installation

Use MCPEDL app on Mobile (Android + IOS) for ease of downloading and installing packs directly into minecraft.
Use Bedrock Manager on Windows For installing addons,packs, worlds, etc and managing them + more features!

Notes

This is a behavior pack only. no textures or visual changes.
Existing worlds are supported. The system initializes automatically when the pack is loaded.
Compatible with most other addons (does not modify vanilla entities, only applies status effects and custom fog).
