Ember Ward
⚠️ Two files required: a Behavior Pack and a Resource Pack. Activate both on your world.
Stand near a lit campfire and it protects you. It heals you, sets nearby hostile mobs on fire, and teleports them out of the area. Soul campfires reach further and hit harder.
Bosses (Warden, Ender Dragon, Wither, Elder Guardian) are not affected, so vanilla boss fights stay intact.
Stats
Regular Campfire — heal 0.5 HP/s, heal radius 6, burn radius 10
Soul Campfire — heal 1 HP/s, heal radius 10, burn radius 14, +extra damage
A green message shows when you enter a safe zone, red when you leave.
Installation
- Download both files (Behavior Pack + Resource Pack).
- Open each
.mcpackto import it. - On your world, activate Ember Ward under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs.
- Enable Beta APIs in the world's Experiments menu (Tested without Beta APIs as well and works just fine).
If messages show as ember_ward.entering: the Resource Pack isn't active. Activate it. If nothing happens near a campfire: the Behavior Pack isn't active, or Beta APIs is off.
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50+
- Beta APIs experiment enabled (this disables achievements on the world — a vanilla limitation) - only if it's not working without them*

Credits
Inspired by the Java mods "No Hostiles Around Campfire" and "Healing Campfire." This is an original Bedrock build — not a port, no shared code or assets.
