BloodThirst Season 2: RESURRECTION V1.4
Warning: This minigame contains the following: Flashing lights (toggled) and profanity. (taunting option)
As you may have seen in the summary thingy-ma-bob, this is incredibly inspired by the Counter-Strike games created by Valve. It is also, as I stated, a remake of something I made with my friends a couple years back, but improved to be made public and have a more reliable system.
With the first official release, only missing one single map, that leaves us with a current total of 4 maps! Fallen Warriors, Nuketown Warzone, Office complex, and Mansion.
Fallen Warriors is the first map created for this whole thing. The first iteration of BloodThirst was designed around this map, with a map similar to Nuketown being an option. It even had the same name; Nuketown.
Nuketown Warzone is where the Counter-Strike inspiration starts to show; With it being heavily inspired by the map Dust2. It takes place in a desert, think of the Warzone version as a sequel to the original. The original was that; a nuketown. A small village destroyed by a nuke, it even had a cannon. The current Nuketown is a lot more like an abandoned city destroyed by war, with multiple small bombs instead of a huge nuclear one.
Office Complex is the third map. It was originally intended to be an american-style city that just experienced extreme weather, but in the process of making it my brother told me it looks Russian and that ties perfectly into the lore of the minigame, so pretty much in the middle of making it, it switched themes from an American New-York style city to poor Russian town suffering the consequences of war. It's also the solar opposite of Nuketown Warzone, being snowy and intact as opposed to sandy and destroyed.
Mansion is an abandoned 1900's-style mansion surrounded by construction sites and forests. It is the first map that has 2 floors, as well as a pool out back! It is located in America, as apposed to Russia. My friend, Jasonvoorhee704, is the one that came up with the idea of a mansion. We were chilling and discussing what the 4th map should be, and we settled on an abandoned mansion. Another thing, a HUGE portion of the roof is completely collapsed, and therefore connecting the second floor to the backyard, for easy flanking/escaping. It is also decently balanced, plus the only layout I did was the mansion itself and a little bit in the backyard.. Everything else (concept/layout wise at least) was Jasonvoorhee704. Fun fact: The 4th map was originally planned on being an overpass, but I like making indoor maps more! (its less work)
And yes, there are roles/classes involved!
The Archer has a crossbow with rockets and arrows,
The God Killer has ninja armor and weapons,
The Merchant has splash potions of invisibility, instant damage II, turtle master, and healing,
The Samurai is similar to The God Killer, but has much better armor and meant to combat the next 2;
The Barbarian, which is blunt-force and has a shield,
and finally; The Juggernaut, which is designed to have the best armor out of all and does the most damage, but incredibly slow and cannot heal like the rest.
