Block Pick - Trees and Perks (Part 1)

To make your survival world more engaging! Attack enemies with powerful blocks! Protect yourself with defensive blocks! Or heal yourself with healing blocks!

Features

  • Currently has 20+ Blocks: Amethyst Block, Cobblestone, Dirt, Gravel, Honey, Mushroom Stem, Netherrack, Obsidian, Packed Ice, Quartz Block, Sculk, and more
  • Unique Styles: Each block has its own different way of using it, some are quite powerful
  • Style Switching: Click on a new block to swap the block on your hand, the new block will go into your hand and the old block will replace the new block
  • Style Combo: If you know how each style works, you can combo some styles by activating different block combinations, making you even more powerful and dangerous
  • Perks: A passive ability for some certain Blocks, the ability is constantly active if you had the block in your 9th slot

How to Use

  • Equip your 9th hotbar slot and click (mobile) / right-click (pc) or interact with a block
  • The block will go into your hotbar as "[Block Name] Style"
  • Click and hold (mobile) / right-click (pc) or use the item to activate its style

Style List

  • Example
    • "Block Name" Style: "Style Name"
    • Cooldown: A timer for how long a style can be reuse when it activate or ended. Won't be very accurate. The shown number is when the player use the full duration of the ability.
    • Style: A description of the style and how it perform. Activate it by using the item. All description start with "On activate,...", and will describe from beginning to end. Numbers mention won't be very accurate.
    • Perk: A passive ability that keep running in the background and will trigger when the condition is met.
    • Sub Style: The description for a second ability inside the Block Style, currently only apply for Furnace Style.
    • Requirement: A weakness or blocking for certain Block Style, making it unable to be activate unless the condition is met.
  • Acacia Leaves Style: Surviving Instinct (New)
    • Cooldown: 15s
    • Style: Buff the player with speed and regeneration based on adrenaline level. Upon being hit, the player will release a particle distraction to run away easily. Adrenaline level increase to max if the player keep getting hit. This ability end after 30s.
  • Acacia Log Style: Hunting Mark (New)
    • Cooldown: 30s
    • Style: Reveal all nearby enemy location by tracking them with a line of particle, repeat once a while. By looking at the enemy, the player can dash toward it and dealing damage, this has a cooldown. This ability end after 20s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Amethyst Block Style: Crystal Streak
    • Cooldown: 150s
    • Style: A sound of amethyst will keep playing as of revealing the player arrival. Buff the player with strength, speed and resistance based on killstreak level. Debuff nearby enemy with weakness once. For each kill, the player strength duration will increase. Killstreak level increase when the kill count reach certain stage with some stage rebuff the player speed and resistance. This ability end when the strength duration finish.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Ancient Debris Style: Juggernaut Surge (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 75s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance, strength, absorption and fire resistance while debuff with slowness. Nearby enemy got push and launch upward taking damage and fall damage. For a repeating time, nearby enemy get push and launch further taking damage. This ability end after 45s.
    • Perk: Buff the player with resistance overtime. The player will instantly fall to the ground when falling from a height.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Birch Leaves Style: Annoying Bushes
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Buff the player with regeneration and resistance. The player cover self with bunch of leaves in a radius. Enemy who break the leaves will be debuff with mining fatigue. Debuff nearby enemy with poison every second. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Birch Log Style: Annoying Pillar
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Teleport the player away from the radius as it's now raided with log. Every enemy standing on the log will be debuff with slowness and weakness. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Blackstone Style: Wither Bones
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance and strength. Debuff nearby enemy with wither and slowness. Spawn wither skeleton with strength that target the enemy, but be careful of it. This ability end after 60s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Bone Block Style: Skeleton Warriors (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance, jump boost and speed. Spawn skeleton with resistance to target the enemy, but be careful of it. Arrows will rain down from each enemy above, but also be careful of it. This ability end after 60s.
    • Perk: By crouching and mining a grass block, the player can get bone meal from it.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Cobblestone Style: Stone Path
    • Cooldown: 40s
    • Style: The player can cross or walk on air with a path build below the feet. The path will collapse after a while or faster if there's enemy on it and apply debuff to the enemy with slowness and take damage. Warning will be given if the ability is ending soon so the player can go down to safety by crouching. The player can cancel the ability early to reduce the cooldown time, but be careful canceling will instantly remove all the path. This ability end after 60s.
  • Dark Oak Leaves Style: Quick Spleef (New)
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Teleport everyone nearby to a spleef arena above made of leaves. Buff the player with night vision. Enemy who fall off 3 block below the arena take massive damage. When the arena end, everyone return to original position safely. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Dark Oak Log Style: Blinding Fog (New)
    • Cooldown: 50s
    • Style: Buff the player with night vision and speed. Debuff enemy with darkness, nausea and weakness. Given them a ghost hunting time.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Deepslate Style: Hardest Skin
    • Cooldown: 30s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance, regeneration and absorption. Nearby enemy got knockback once. This ability end after 15s.
  • Dirt Style: Ground Pull
    • Cooldown: 25s
    • Style: Debuff nearby enemy with mining fatigue and pull them into the ground while taking damage. After that, enemy got slowness and weakness. Buff the player with speed. This ability end after 3s.
    • Requirement: Must be above coordinate Y = 0 and need enemy nearby
  • End Stone Style: Immortality Ascension
    • Cooldown: 0s
    • Style: Buff the player with random good effect and stack for each stage to stage 11. On stage 3, a random bad effect will apply and stack for each stage. On stage 12, the player explode dealing AOE massive damage to nearby enemy. The player can cancel the ability early to reduce the cooldown time, but all the effect will be gone including the one that aren't affected by this ability. This ability end after 330s.
  • Furnace Style: Fire Beam
    • Cooldown: 50s
    • Style: Buff the player with fire resistance. Shoot a beam of fire in the player view direction dealing damage to whoever intact. This ability end after 10s.
    • Sub Style: Obtain from a lit furnace, or a furnace that has fuel burning. This ability convert to the original style when finish using it and it buff the ability damage. This ability end after 15s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Gravel Style: Sneaky Escape
    • Cooldown: 25s
    • Style: The player will sink into the ground teleporting the player to a cave or somewhere lower and buff the player with speed and invisibility. If there's no where to teleport, "Dirt Style: Ground Pull" activate. If there's no enemy too, the ability won't apply cooldown. This ability end after 2s.
    • Requirement: Must be above coordinate Y = -40 and need enemy nearby
  • Honey Block Style: Sweet Domain
    • Cooldown: 45s
    • Style: Trap everyone inside a honey domain that slowly close in. Anyone can escape if squished out. Bee will spawn inside the domain targeting whoever attack it. Buff the player with night vision and regeneration. Debuff nearby enemy with slowness. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Jungle Leaves Style: Vine Swing (New)
    • Cooldown: 10s
    • Style: The player can swing across anywhere view direction for a max of 2 times but there's a short time limit for the second swing. Buff the player with resistance and slow falling when swinging. This ability end after 4s.
  • Jungle Log Style: High Slam (New)
    • Cooldown: 50s
    • Style: Buff the player with jump boost, slow falling and resistance. Each jump, the player slam back down dealing AOE damage and knockback, this slam has cooldown. This ability end after 20s.
  • Magma Style: Meteor Strike (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 35s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance. Meteor strike from 8 random set of direction randomly, dealing AOE damage and create fire.
    • Perk: Buff the player with fire resistance repeatedly.
  • Moss Block Style: Nature Domain
    • Cooldown: 75s
    • Style: Buff the player with night vision. Trap everyone inside a moss domain. Nearby enemy can't move during trapping, debuff with weakness and taking damage repeatedly. The player heal if delt a certain amount of damage. This ability end after 45s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Mushroom Stem Style: Smoke Bomb (New)
    • Cooldown: 25s
    • Style: Buff the player with speed and strength. Debuff nearby enemy with slowness and weakness. Particle spawn around enemy and less around player to cover enemy vision. This ability end after 10s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Netherrack Style: Hellfire Star
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Buff the player with fire resistance. Unleash a star shape fire burning all enemy and dealing damage. This ability end after 8s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Oak Leaves Style: Healing Touch (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Buff the player with regeneration and if at night buff with absorption and ability timer to 10s too. Enemy outside of 3 block range get debuff with poison. This ability end after 8s.
    • Perk: If the player health drop to 2 heart icon, buff the player with regeneration, this has a cooldown.
  • Oak Log Style: Pillar Launch
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Launch the enemy upward into the sky dealing damage and fall damage. A pillar will spawn underneath the enemy and disappear in a second making another fall damage scenario. This ability end after 6s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Oak Planks Style: Crafting Gamble
    • Cooldown: 1s
    • Style: Give the player a random set of wooden tools. Every gamble will increase the luck boost, so the player will get even better tools. Getting the spear or sword will reset the luck boost. Activating this ability will remove the block from your hotbar. This ability end after 0.1s.
    • Requirement: Need more gambling
  • Obsidian Style: Power Absorption
    • Cooldown: 120s
    • Style: The player will have a power count start in 0. Every 2 second the power will increase by 1. Everytime the player take damage, it's also convert into power. After the ability end, the more power the player has in the end, the bigger the explosion is dealing massive damage to everything around. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Packed Ice Style: Frozen Zone (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 90s
    • Style: Create a freezing zone around the player. Enemy inside will be debuff with slowness and take damage overtime. Water and lava both convert to ice and basalt, this will melt or burn back into water or lava, but it's not recommend to sprint jump on ice. The player can cancel the ability early to reduce the cooldown, but be careful as it instantly convert water and lava back. This ability end after 45s.
    • Perk: Enemy closer to you will be debuff with slowness but won't take damage.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Quartz Block Style: Prism Beam
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Buff the player with speed and strength. A white beam will shoot from the player vision. Enemy got hit will be debuff with slowness and blindness. The beam will auto target the next nearby enemy if it hit the first enemy basically a chain reaction. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Sand Style: Dust Eye
    • Cooldown: 20s
    • Style: Buff the player with speed and create a ring sand around the player pushing outward knockback all nearby enemy. The closer the enemy the further it get knockback and will be debuff with slowness and blindness. This ability end after 2s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Sculk Style: Dark Terror (Perk)
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Buff the player with invisibility and speed. Debuff nearby enemy with darkness, slowness, nausea and mining fatigue. A warden with speed will spawn at the player activating location. The warden despawn after the ability end. This ability end after 30s.
    • Perk: Buff the player with night vision everytime.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Sea Lantern Style: Water Blast
    • Cooldown: 60s
    • Style: Buff the player with conduit power. A water beam will shoot from the player vision. Debuff enemy that got hit with slowness and taking damage. If in water, the damage and range of the beam got buff and a mining fatigue to all enemy that got hit. This ability end after 30s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Spruce Leaves Style: Forest Cage
    • Cooldown: 120s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance and regeneration. Debuff nearby enemy with slowness and blindness. Enemy will get pull in slowly into a cone shape leaves the player created. The player will teleport to safety. Enemy must escape the cone in time or else will be reward with massive damage. The cone will regenerate and pull the enemy more inward from time to time. This ability end after 60s.
    • Requirement: Need enemy nearby
  • Spruce Log Style: Pillar Battle
    • Cooldown: 120s
    • Style: Buff the player with slow falling and jump boost. Debuff nearby enemy with slowness and blindness. Everyone will be teleport to a pillar challenge. Enemy who fall will take massive damage. Everyone will teleport back when the ability end. This ability end after 300s.
    • Requirement: Must be use in open area where there's no roof and need enemy nearby
  • Stone Style: Hardened Skin
    • Cooldown: 30s
    • Style: Buff the player with resistance and regeneration. Debuff enemy who attack the player with slowness. This ability end after 20s.

Installation

  1. Download the .mcaddon file
  2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock
  3. Apply the behavior pack to your world
  4. Enable "Beta APIs" (Experiments) in world settings
  • Works for MCPE version 1.21.120 and above, but is best to use the newest version
